Sunday, Nov. 17

Warrant

Sarah Elaine Taylor, 23, of the 2700 block of McDuffee Circle, North Aurora, was arrested at 5:03 p.m. in the 1100 block of Route 30 on four failure to appear warrants, said the Sheriff’s office.

Saturday, Nov. 16

Possession of drug paraphernalia, cannabis, warrant

Angel M. Leal, 18, of the 0-20 block of Woodcliff Road, Montgomery, and two male juveniles from Oswego, 14 and 15, were charged in an incident that occurred at 9:54 p.m. at Route 25 and North Street, Oswego, said the Sheriff’s office. Leal, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to have an active Kendall County warrant for probations violation and was charged on that, along with possession of alcohol by a minor. The 14-year-old was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and the 15-year-old was charged with possession of cannabis.

Friday, Nov. 15

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a theft that occurred around 3 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East, Montgomery. The victim reported prescription pills were stolen. No suspects at this time.

Thursday, Nov. 14

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a theft that occurred at an unknown time in the 11000 block of Fox Road, Yorkville. Someone stole $200 worth of firewood from the property. 

Wednesday, Nov. 13

Residential burglary

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a residential burglary that occurred at 10 a.m. in the 300 block of Tallgrass Lane, Oswego. The victim reported that entry was likely gained by the suspect using a spare key. The only items taken were additional spare keys. Two bedroom doors were also damaged when they were forced open.

Warrant

Ashley Monique Morris, 29, of the 1200 block of Light Road, Oswego, was arrested at 7:09 p.m. at Route 31 and Light Road after she was stopped for operating a vehicle with expired registration. She was arrested on two warrants – one out of Kendall for failure to appear for driving on a suspended license and the second also out of Kendall for failure to pay for driving with a license suspended, said the Sheriff’s office. She was also cited for driving on a suspended license.

Possession of drug paraphernalia, cannabis

  • Jason Michael Linneman, 39, of the 8000 block of Van Emmon Road, Yorkville, was arrested at 12:06 a.m. at the Hide-A-Way-Lakes Campground after deputies went to the area to assist medics. They found while investigating the incident that Linneman was in possession of drug paraphernalia and cannabis and he was arrested on scene.
  • Samantha Lynn Priebe, 19, of the 300 block of Yolane Court, Sugar Grove, was arrested at 11:25 p.m. at Saw Wee Kee Park, 7300 block of Sundown Lane, Oswego, after a deputy observed a vehicle in the park after dark. Priebe was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and cannabis and was arrested, said the Sheriff’s office.

Tuesday, Nov. 12

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported criminal damage to property that occurred between 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 and 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 12 in the 2200 block of Light Road. The victim reported damage to the tire of their vehicle.

Battery

Sheriff’s deputies are investing a reported battery that occurred between 3:30 p.m. and 4:02 p.m. at Long Beach and Pueblo in which a juvenile hit another juvenile.

DUI, revoked license

Fredy Moreno, 21, of the 1200 block of Nantucket Road, Aurora, was arrested at 9:59 p.m. at Linden Avenue and Bristol Ridge Road, Bristol, and charged with driving under the influence and driving with a revoked license after he was observed sleeping in his vehicle parked on Linden avenue, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, no valid registration and the unlawful display of a license plate.

Residential burglary

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a residential burglary that occurred at an unknown time in the 0-99 block of High View Drive, Yorkville. The victim reported someone broke a basement window and gained access to the residence.

Monday, Nov. 11

Burglary

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a burglary to a semi-trailer that occurred between Nov. 1 and Nov. 11 in the 1200 block of Route 34. 28 cases of creamed corn, valued at $678, were stolen.

Residential burglary

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a residential burglary that occurred between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the 6000 block of Southfield Lane, Oswego.  Three firearms and a safe were reported stolen.

Theft

  • Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a theft that occurred between Nov. 10 and Nov. 11 in the 0-99 block of Boulder Hill Pass. A 10’ x 3’ steel table was stolen from the rear of a restaurant. It is valued at $800.
  • Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a theft that occurred between Oct. 21 and Nov. 11 in the 0-99 block of Highview Drive, Yorkville A theft of checks from a business was reported.

Order of protection violation

Modesto Flores, 38, of the 100 block of North Loucks Street, Aurora, was arrested at 4:03 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Winrock Road, Oswego, and charged with the violation of an order of protection after his estranged wife called to report he had entered her residence.

Sunday, Nov. 10

Burglary

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a burglary that occurred between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Hillstone.
