Burglar Bolts Before Cops Arrive: Blotter

Montgomery police reports, Nov. 21-23.

SATURDAY, NOV. 23

Suspended License

Latonya Hewitt, 32, of the 2200 block of Rebecca Circle, Montgomery, was arrested at about 3:40 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license after police ran her license plate near Lakewood Creek and Oakmont and determined she matched the description of the registered owner who was listed as having a suspended license.

Suspended License

Victor Cordova, 44, 1900 block of Grandview Place, Montgomery, was arrested at about 5:50 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license after police stopped his vehicle near Seasons Ridge and Grandview Place for driving without headlights.

Criminal Credit Card Use

A victim reported to police at about 3 p.m. that the person’s credit card at a business in the 2000 block of Orchard Road.

Criminal Damage

A juvenile who was riding a scooter scratched a person’s Chevrolet Cavalier at about 4 p.m. while it was parked in the 1300 block of Talma.

Tool Theft

A white male in his mid 40s was seen taking a $249 power tool from its case at about 9:55 a.m. and leaving the store, located in the 400 block of Route 30, without paying.

Burglary

Police responded to a burglar alarm at about 6:15 p.m. at a home in the 2100 block of Kathleen Circle. Nothing appeared to be missing. Police found foot impressions at the scene.
