All Research cost money. Fermi works on the core and beginning points of everything and its research while not bringing many finished products to market it brings parts of the whole, which allows those items to even be. Understanding everything inside your cell phone isn't required to use it, but without the science & research if wouldn't be! We need to fund pure research because without people thinking we would be stuck in the slow lane forever!

Danny valid but look at want just happen in the last election. The four winners took oaths to uphold the laws, rules and regulations in Montgomery, but got caught in violations of several of those same regulations they said they would uphold! Now comes the great part the Village Attorney said correct it but gave them 14 days to do so. Now if they knew the rules and violated them on purpose isn't that a slap in the faces of all voters? Yes I ran a clean race but fingering the ones that voted in our Village by breaking the vary rules they all took oaths to protect is just as bad. Transparency is more than open it is not breaking the trust of those that voted or live in the District, Village or Town they REP.

Several taken also here Ben. I'm hoping they just blew away but sure is strange when feet away is a sea of RED. All signs must be on property of a business or resident per the regulations. If they are found on property of a resident or business they need to have permission for same. If on public property they must be removed. Shame, Shame on those not doing it legally - wonder how they will be at being a Trustee or President if they can't do the simple things!

Steve it looks like a new policy will prevent this type of candidate marketing. I think Stan Bond said it best when he like many felt it was an event for family & friends and shouldn't be used to support any candidates bid for election.

As you can see here I never run away from anything. Remember even telling someone bad news is also part of the job, but not taking the time after stating he would is simply poor judgement on Mr. Brolley's part! If you don't get somewhere with your issue remember I'll be able to help if elected and even if not I'll fight always for everyone!

The FORUM was not a debate. They never have been and never will mainly because they have three people running or more. I think that a position that only pays 10K a year doesn't warrant a debate and who would run it? The forum was what it was, a very brief look into the people running (both Trustee and President). The issue is if you take that as the only look into who you will have running or elected that would be very narrow picture of who to elect. You and I can debate this until the cows come home but face value choices sometimes are poor choices and digging deep often brings more to light. I wish you well this Season and all the people here on Patch!

I can debate better then anyone period, why because I know what is going one in the Village. I now the issues and I'm engaged. Funny I have never talked with you at a board meeting or at any function over the past 20 years.....wonder why?

BUYER BEWARE is correct! Why are they running together, because they wish to control the board like in Chicago? Hey here yea gone “WHICH WAY SHOULD I VOTE THIS WEEK BOSS”. If you check the facts we spent 12+ Million on a Village Hall because a group forced it. We should have just made the Police Station home and made it a little bigger. Now we have space at the Station, we have space at the Hall, maybe we should open this open space for rent to anyone! The facts are the facts people. We need to get back to NO “I WANT” spending, we to get back to repairing our roads. We need 2.5 - 3.0 Million a year just to get back on track on repairs. How do we finance this, oh wait the GROUP is thinking lets raise taxes, let’s keep that levy moving up, and up, WRONG! The simple truth is “BUY Montgomery” and buy from local businesses and our tax dollars will stay here. We need to make Montgomery a model and strong and then people will start filling up those 1200 homes in foreclosure and our open business spaces will fill again. We need to be smart and elect individual thinkers, you know business minded people because business drives the TAXES back into our Village!

Remember that thinking or saying you know how doesn’t mean you can or even should!

There was no twist on the fest. Lets maybe get the real story. I'm also running and the only reason the FEST has live bands, rides and host of others items is because in 1999 with Bill Keck and myself brought them back or added them back in. So after that maybe you should give the person that knows the Village because he has lived it a thank you. The facts are the four running you spoke have little experience doing anything real in our Village other than spending. Here is a great point Lee and Brolley sit on a board that is funded by the Village MEDC and frankly a conflict of interest. Is this transparent to the people of our Village - NO way. So you go right ahead and vote them and watch that TAXES go right up. One more note ask them if they will freeze the levy or will they let it go ever higher and higher! April 9th is only days away people time to really look hard at facts and not advertising speak because four years of same same will destroy or Village for all!

Bill is the Elder Statesman that all can trust. It made me laugh when being at the Fest 40 Hours was so important to Brolley. Hey Matt you think over the past 20+ years Bill may have put in a few hours at the FEST? I can tell you he and Karen in 1998/1999 along with myself and my wife put in way more than 40 hours - try 200 plus. So Vote Keck and Nelson because we have been there done that and then some!
