Rosary HS Names New Principal

Here is more information about Rosary High School's new leader.

The Rosary High School Board of Directors and the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois, are pleased to announce the selection of Sister Ann Brummel, O.P., as the new principal of Rosary High School beginning July 1, 2013. Sister Ann has served as principal of St. Peter Catholic School in Aurora since 2002, and previously was an administrator at St. Mary School in Mt. Sterling, Illinois, and St. Bernadette School in Evergreen Park. She also taught at schools in the Springfield and Peoria dioceses. Sister Ann was honored with the National Distinguished Principal Award from the National Catholic Education Association in Washington, D.C. in 1992. A member of Rosary’s first graduating class in 1966, Sister Ann earned her Bachelor of Arts …

Rosary, Marmion Present Musical 'White Christmas'

The cast includes more than 40 students from Rosary and Marmion, and music is provided by the Rosary Symphony Orchestra with additional musicians from the Marmion-Rosary Band.

Rosary High School to Host Open House Sunday

The open house is for for students in fifth through eighth grade. All families who are interested in learning more about Rosary are invited to attend.

Rosary High School is hosting an Open House from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, for students in fifth through eighth grade. All families who are interested in learning more about Rosary are invited to attend. A presentation will be given in the auditorium at 12:45 p.m., followed by guided tours of the campus. Guests will also meet students, faculty and staff, and learn about Rosary’s athletic programs and extracurricular activities. Registration is not required. Rosary High School is an all-girls Catholic, college preparatory high school, sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield. Rosary is located at 901 N. Edgelawn Drive, Aurora. Rosary High School Opens 50th Anniversary Celebration With Jubilee Mass Sunday

Rosary High School opened its doors Sept. 4, 1962, in the old Holy Angels Grade School with a class of 41 freshman girls.

All are welcome to join Rosary High School in Aurora as we begin our 50th anniversary year (1962 to 2012) with an opening Mass at 2 p.m. Sunday. Mass will be held in the school gym. An open house with refreshments and school tours will follow. Rosary High School opened its doors Sept. 4, 1962, in the old Holy Angels Grade School with a class of 41 freshman girls. That same year, Rosary broke ground for a building at our current location, 901 N. Edgelawn Drive in Aurora. Rosary High School is an all-girls, Catholic college preparatory high school sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois.
