At the Jan. 17 Montgomery Plan Commission meeting, Commissioner Steve Jungermann was elected to serve as Chair of both the Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. He replaces former Chair Mildred McNeal-James, who had served for the past two years. Jungermann and his wife, Donna, purchased a home in Montgomery in 2007. He was first appointed to the Plan Commission/ZBA in 2009 by Village President Marilyn Michelini, and was recently reappointed to a second five-year term. During his tenure, Jungermann has participated in the planning for the Orchard Road commercial corridor as well as the Ogden Hill Shopping Center. He is active in community watch and is …
