Second Accident at Route 30 and Treasure with Injuries in Last Week

Incidents happened on Saturday, Nov. 17 and Wednesday, Nov. 21.

The intersection of Route 30 and Treasure Drive has not been kind to drivers in the last week. Two separate accidents with injuries have occurred at the intersection, one on Saturday, Nov. 17 and another on Wednesday, Nov. 21. Want free local news in your inbox every morning? Sign up for our newsletter. The most recent incident occurred early Wednesday at 8:07 a.m. during what the National Weather Service was calling a dense fog advisory. Oswego Police Department said the first car was heading east on Treasure Drive at Route 30 and attempted to turn left onto Route 30. A second car was traveling on Route 30 and was hit on the front driver’s side door by the first car. Oswego police said the driver of car one did not see the other vehicle …

Three Hospitalized Following Route 30 Rollover Saturday

Accident happened at Route 30 and Treasure Road.

Three people were transported to Rush Copley Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries from a vehicle roll over that occurred Saturday evening, said the Oswego Fire Protection District. At about 7:30 p.m. two vehicles were involved in an accident at Treasure Drive and Route 30 that fire department Batallion Chief Jeff Warren described as a t-bone. The three passengers in the car that rolled over were transported to Rush Copley Medical Center with what Warren said were apparent, but not life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle chose not to seek medical attention, Warren said  The roads were closed temporarily following the accident.
