Theresa Sperling, Steve Jungermann and Denny Lee (I) were elected as trustees to the Montgomery Village Board on Tuesday night. Unofficial vote totals show Sperling captured 509 votes with Jungermann and Lee receiving 441 and 506 respectively. A total of seven candidates ran for the three seats. He replaces former Chair Mildred McNeal-James, who had served for the past two years.

At the Jan. 17 Montgomery Plan Commission meeting, Commissioner Steve Jungermann was elected to serve as Chair of both the Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. He replaces former Chair Mildred McNeal-James, who had served for the past two years. Jungermann and his wife, Donna, purchased a home in Montgomery in 2007. He was first appointed to the Plan Commission/ZBA in 2009 by Village President Marilyn Michelini, and was recently reappointed to a second five-year term. Thank god the voters took the time to choose wisely!!! We've all read the MANY, MANY "holier than thou" posts from Greg Nelson and we can only hope that his 7th place finish, and incredibly low vote count, will demonstrate that his views are not held in very high regard. He's not a watchdog, he just always needs someone or something to complain about. My opinion is that Bill Keck lost his race …   more ›
