A 23-year-old Yorkville-area sex offender is facing new criminal charges for allegedly failing to tell police he had a new job and was attending school, police said. Thomas Binion, of the 9300 block of Route 34, Yorkville, was charged with two felony counts of violation of the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act, according to a news release from the Kendall County Sheriff's Office. He was arrested Monday; his bond is $30,000, which requires posting $3,000 to be released while the case is pending. Binion is required to register annually as a sexual predator, the news release states.
