51 Oswego and Oswego East Students Chosen for SPC Honor Band
The band played on Feb. 19 at Oswego High School.
Fifty-one District 308 high school band members were chosen to participate in the 2013 Southwest Prairie Conference Honor Bands festival on February 19. The festival was held at Oswego High School and had several guest conductors, including:Dr. Charlie Menghini, Director of Bands and President at Vandercook College of Music, Chicago; and John Heath, retired Director of Bands at Batavia High School in Batavia and past president of the Illinois Music Educator Association.
