Sophie and Superman are two cats who came into Kendall County Animal Control needing some veterinary attention. Sophie had surgery on her left back leg and had to have her right eye removed due to injuries sustained in a car accident. She is ready for a new home, but she sometimes startles easily because her peripheral vision is impaired so she doesn't notice others approaching her. She's about a year old and has been spayed. Superman had in infected bite wound that was serious enough for the veterinarian to remove one of his rear legs. He's about 3 or 3.5 months old, though, and full of kitten playfulness and affection. I'll admit I was tempted to bring both of them home with me. BlackJack (a cockapoo) would have voiced a strong opinion against it, though. more ›
