Montgomery Resident Wants Answers on 911 Dispatch Decisions

As a resident of the Village of Montgomery, I am curious why Sugar Grove decided to seek dispatching services elsewhere, and why the senior leadership in Montgomery didn't eagerly work to keep Sugar Grove a part of Montgomery's Dispatch services. I have lived in the area my entire life. I have been a village resident for 11 years. It cost the tax payers and the village a lot of money to build the new police station and include a state of the art dispatch center. What will become of the dispatch center? The fate of the 8 dispatchers should be considered, as they are the ones who have been loyal to our village; it's comforting to know they are there, they are village residents, this is their community. Great question and there are many more waiting in the wings! Seems we can hire more after if we cut dispatch (officers). I'm sure happy to say I will be saying no to many of the "I WANTS" in our Village because "just because" or "not my job" doesn't cut it people!
