Powerball Prize Tops $360 Million

Next drawing will be held Wednesday at 9:59 p.m.

The odds of winning the current $360 million Powerball prize may be 1 in 175 million, but that won't stop millions of players from scooping up tickets before Wednesday night's drawing.  The estimated cash value of Wednesday's prize is $229 million. Saturday's numbers were 6, 13, 19, 23, 43 with a Powerball of 16. Pedro Quezada, of  New Jersey, won the last major Powerball jackpot in March when he raked in $338 million. Lucky Day Lotto Winning Ticket Sold in Aurora

So you reported this about a small win, compared to the ticket sold on February 2 for a $4,850,000 dollar Lotto win also in Aurora. That ticket was sold at the 7-11 gas station on Orchard near The I-88 Toll-road. This area is a hot right now, since there was been winners in Bataiva and Geneva over the past 6 months or so.   more ›

Powerball Reaches $151M

The next drawing will be Wednesday night.

It may be time to see if Lady Luck is on your side. The Powerball has reached $151 million with the next drawing occurring on Wednesday night, according to a Powerball press release. While the last Powerball drawing on Saturday produced no grand prize Powerball winner, there were more than 21,000 Illinois residents who won prizes ranging from $4 to $10,000. The Powerball drawing is held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. The largest Powerball Jackpot to date was $384 million and was won on Nov. 28, 2012 in Arizonia and Missouri.

'Blistering' Illinois Sales for $550 Million Powerball Jackpot Lottery

Lottery ticket sales are expected to sell even faster in advance of Wednesday's $500 million Powerball Jackpot Lottery drawing.

The Illinois Lottery's Powerball jackpot is set to reach $550 million, and the tickets are selling at a "blistering" pace, according to the Chicago Tribune.  About $200,000 in lottery tickets were sold in just one 30-minute period Tuesday, according to the Trib, and sales are expected to peak as the Powerball drawing draws closer.  It's the largest jackpot in Powerball history.
