Kevin Freeman of Boulder Hill made an extremely brief appearance in court on Tuesday, and won’t be back before a judge until next month. Freeman, 27, of the first block of Shermead Road in Boulder Hill, is accused of having sexual contact with two teens between the ages of 13 and 17, both of whom were in his care as a youth leader at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Boulder Hill, according to court records. He is charged with seven counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a Class 2 felony, and two counts of criminal sexual assault, a Class 1 felony. A Boulder Hill man faces more charges of criminal sexual abuse and sexual assault after a second teenage victim was identified, according to Kendall County State’s Attorney Eric Weis.
