Woman Parks Running Car in the Road, Charged with DUI: Sheriff

Reports from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office; May 12 – May 20.

DUI Dominique Nicole Martin, 22, of the 800 block of Preston Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 3:09 a.m. at Stewart and Wooley Roads and charged with driving under the influence, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies found Martin in her vehicle, which was parked and running in the roadway and found she was driving under the influence of alcohol, the sheriff's office said. She was also cited for improper parking in the roadway, not having a driver’s license on her person and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Warrant Allison M. Sautter, 20, of the 0-99 block of Saugatuck, Montgomery, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. at her residence and charged with a warrant out of Kendall County for domestic battery, said the Sheriff’s office. Kendall County Sheriff joins Click It or Ticket Campaign to Help Save Lives

Campaign begins on May 10 and goes through Memorial Day.

The following is from a release issued by the Kendall County Sheriff's office: The 2013 Click It or Ticket campaign kicks off May 10 in Illinois. The purpose of the campaign is to help save lives by cracking down on those who do not buckle up through the Memorial Day holiday weekend.  The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is joining the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), the Illinois State Police (ISP) and over 500 local law enforcement agencies across the state to save more lives by strongly enforcing seat belt laws.  “As we kick-off the busy summer driving season it’s important for everyone to buckle up every trip, every time, day or night – no excuses,” said Operations Commander Phil Smith. “Our officers are prepared to ticket …

If they so desired, each officer wrote one ticket per shift, and we have lets just say 10 officers per shift and their are 3 shifts. Five Cannabis Plants Found After House Fire in Boulder Hill: Sheriff

Hit and run Justin J. Teliszczak, 23, of the 1800 block of Sergeant Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 8:03 a.m. at Plainfield Road and Collins Road and charged with a hit and run, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies were dispatched to an accident that occurred around 2 a.m. where a vehicle was found to have left the roadway and rolled into a ditch, struck a culvert and went airborne, coming to rest on the south side of the culvert. Threats with An Axe Lead to Assault Charges

Incident happened on Chatham Place in Oswego Township near Montgomery.

A Montgomery-area man was charged with aggravated assault and domestic battery after threatening someone with an axe. According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office Frank E. Foley, 47, of 24 Chatham Place, was charged at about 6:50 a.m. Thursday outside his home. Foley allegedly threatened someone with an axe during an argument outside the home. Foley also allegedly shoved a family member to the ground, causing minor injury, the sheriff’s office reported.

Man Arrested on Multiple Charges After Fleeing From Three Police Departments

Jerry Williams Jr., 25, from Woodridge, Ill., was arrested a little after 12 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23 in the area of Route 71 and Hughes Road, and given multiple citations in the incident that involved three different police agencies, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office At 12:10 a.m. Sheriff’s deputies were notified of a vehicle that had fled a traffic stop in Aurora by Aurora Police. Oswego Sex Offender Charged with Violation of the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act

Michael McCallister, 29, failed to register as a sex offender, which he is required to do every 90 days.

An Oswego man from unincorporated Kendall County has been charged with violating the Illinois sex offender registration act, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Michael McCallister, 29, of the 2200 block of Light Road, Oswego, failed to register as a sex offender after a 90 day period. McCallister was convincted in 2006 for criminal sexual assault for a victim 21 year old while he was 23 at the time, according to the Illinois Sex Offender registry. As a condition of his conviction, he is required to register every 90 days with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. In December 2012, Kendall County detectives learned McCallister had moved and had not informed authorities, thus launching an investigation. As a result McCallister …

Florida Woman Charged with Unlawful Use of Credit Card, Sheriff's Office Seeking Public's Assistance

The Kendall County Sheriff's office is seeking the public's assistance in locating a Florida woman recently charged with the unlawful use of a credit card. On Sept. 8, 2012, Sheriff's deputies responded to the Kendall County Public Safety Center in Yorkville for a report of an unlawful use of a credit card. The victim reported that the offender had made charges on his credit card without his consent. An investigation was launched and Suzanne C. King, 48, of the 1600 block of Flager Drive West Palm Beach, Florida was issued a warrant on April 16 for the unlawful use of a credit card forgery, a class 3 felony with bond of 10 percent of $100,000.
