DUI Dominique Nicole Martin, 22, of the 800 block of Preston Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 3:09 a.m. at Stewart and Wooley Roads and charged with driving under the influence, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies found Martin in her vehicle, which was parked and running in the roadway and found she was driving under the influence of alcohol, the sheriff's office said. She was also cited for improper parking in the roadway, not having a driver’s license on her person and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Warrant Allison M. The purpose of the campaign is to help save lives by cracking down on those who do not buckle up through the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Hit and run Justin J. Teliszczak, 23, of the 1800 block of Sergeant Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 8:03 a.m. at Plainfield Road and Collins Road and charged with a hit and run, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies were dispatched to an accident that occurred around 2 a.m. where a vehicle was found to have left the roadway and rolled into a ditch, struck a culvert and went airborne, coming to rest on the south side of the culvert. A Montgomery-area man was charged with aggravated assault and domestic battery after threatening someone with an axe. According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office Frank E. Foley, 47, of 24 Chatham Place, was charged at about 6:50 a.m. Thursday outside his home. Foley allegedly threatened someone with an axe during an argument outside the home. Foley also allegedly shoved a family member to the ground, causing minor injury, the sheriff’s office reported.

An Oswego man from unincorporated Kendall County has been charged with violating the Illinois sex offender registration act, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Michael McCallister, 29, of the 2200 block of Light Road, Oswego, failed to register as a sex offender after a 90 day period. McCallister was convincted in 2006 for criminal sexual assault for a victim 21 year old while he was 23 at the time, according to the Illinois Sex Offender registry. As a condition of his conviction, he is required to register every 90 days with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. In December 2012, Kendall County detectives learned McCallister had moved and had not informed authorities, thus launching an investigation. As a result McCallister …

The Kendall County Sheriff's office is seeking the public's assistance in locating a Florida woman recently charged with the unlawful use of a credit card. On Sept. 8, 2012, Sheriff's deputies responded to the Kendall County Public Safety Center in Yorkville for a report of an unlawful use of a credit card. The victim reported that the offender had made charges on his credit card without his consent. An investigation was launched and Suzanne C.
