Montgomery Winner in Annual Water Taste Test Contest
Montgomery competed with nine other entries from communities throughout Kane County.
Editor's note: The following is a press release from the village of Montgomery. The village of Montgomery was deemed the winner in the 2012 Kane County Water Association Annual Water Taste Test Contest. Utilities Supervisor Jack Rosenstiel and Water Operators Dan Gier and Adam Hake entered a sample of the village’s water in the contest, and subsequently represented the village at the Kane County Water Association’s Dec. 20 meeting. Water samples were to be submitted at room temperature and treated in the normally accepted manner for the particular community.
