Montgomery to Collect Unwanted Prescription Drugs
Unwanted drugs can be turned in from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Police Department.

The Montgomery Police will be collecting unused, unwanted and expired medication from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Montgomery Police Department, at 10 Civic Center Ave. This national effort in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration will focus on removing potentially dangerous controlled substances from citizens’ medicine cabinets. The national take-back day provides an opportunity for citizens to surrender expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement officers for destruction.
