7A Football Playoffs: Oswego Staves Off Plainfield North

Oswego 28, Plainfield North 21: Jack Kwiatkowski caught three touchdown passes and blocked a punt. And Elliot McGaughy's pass defense in the final seconds boosted the Panthers in the opening round of the Class 7A playoffs Friday night.

Patch’s MVP: Brett Wainwright, senior, quarterback, Oswego. The 5-foot-9, 155-pound …

OEHS, OHS Football Coaches Hired

OHS assistant moves up. OEHS brings in new blood.

Oswego's two high schools went from having no varsity head football coaches to both positions filled late Monday night. The District 308 board voted to approve the hiring of assistant coach Brian Cooney as the new head coach for Oswego High School.
