Weekend Memorial Set for Dawn Brown, Firefighter Found Dead in Her Home
Bristol Kendall, Big Rock firefighter/paramedic died in her home Monday.
The Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District firefighter apparently killed by a bull mastiff in her home Monday will be remembered at a memorial this weekend. According the BKFD Facebook page, a memorial service for Dawn Brown is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at English Congregational Church, 301 Rhodes St. in Big Rock. The Kane County Coroner's autopsy determined Brown died of attack wounds from a mastiff, one of three dogs that she and her husband owned.
