It is the West Aurora School District's only school in Montgomery, and according to the Ilinois State Board of Education, 79.8 percent of its students met or exceeded expectations on the 2010 ISAT, up from 74.3 percent in 2009. The principal is David Russell, serving his first year in 2010-2011.

Oswegoland Park District Kid's Connection is a before- and after-school care program for children in first through fifthMore grades. Parents have busy schedules and Kid's Connection helps them by giving them a safe place for their children to go during the hours before and after school. Kid's Connection meets in District 308's elementary school cafeteria and uses the gym and playground for different games and activities. Children are offered breakfast and an afternoon snack.
