It is a bustling hive of activity -- store officials say they see about 300 customers a day -- and offers a wide selection of donated clothing, books, electronics and other items. All proceeds go to the Salvation Army's mission work. The store accepts donations of "almost anything," except water beds, crib and car seats.

The Oswego Public Library District was formed in 1977 to serve Montgomery, Oswego, Plainfield, Bristol and WheatlandMore Townships. It maintains two campuses, one in Oswego and this one, constructed after a bond issue in 2006. The Montgomery campus offers free Internet access, and a selection of DVDs and CDs for lending. The library accepts donations of gently-used paperbacks and hardcovers, but not textbooks or encyclopedias.
