I first met John Anthony when I was working for Sheriff Randall's re-election campaign. He spentRead More time explaining his vision for the youth in our area to me and my wife. We went away from that encounter feeling that here was a man who will truly make a difference in our county. I regret to say that some personal issues have made it impossible to offer any help to John and his wife, and for now I will be cheering him on from the sidelines, but cheering, none the less.
John D Anthony May 23, 2012 at 12:23 pm
Gary, thanks for the kind words. The fact that you believe in us means more than you know. You stillRead More have a voice to let people know what YARN is attempting to do in the county. You are YARN...

On behalf of the YARN Foundation, I would like to take this time to say thank you to the wonderfulRead More people of Kendall County and the surrounding areas. Let's Change the World...

I am so grateful to John and Deb and their passion to help youth, and show them they matter. We allRead More need to know this and as we overcome whatever obstacles and trials we have to go through, its nice to know people are out there to help. I am so thrilled to see so many willing to come out and help, and reading Yvonne's testament of the help changing her grandchildren's lives, the love of God runs through my body. I love when we see God moving and changing people from inside out. I pray that all involved will be blessed in abundance by His mercy and grace. May YARN continue to thread together broken lives, and may our world be a better place because of it all. I pray God's blessings on the entire organization and may the fruits of the labor be abundant. -Ginny Saul

I truly believe the YARN Foundation will make a great impact on all communities it is going toRead More reach. John and Deborah Anthony are truly a God send to the youth of today, there are not many people who still care enough to want to give the youth of today a chance to be someone and go on later in life to also make a change in society. I hope that the fundraiser will be a total success and I will be there. There is an old saying…. it takes a village to raise a child, well the Anthony’s and the YARN foundation are that village, lets help them be a village and help raise our children !! I will see you Saturday @6pm to help raise our youth, will you be there?
Billie Beyer March 30, 2012 at 01:37 am

BURP went the computers....hate when that happens!
Andre Salles December 30, 2011 at 10:32 pm
We've looked into it, and it's not a glitch. Charlie asked for support in this poll on Facebook, andRead More his family and friends passed the link around for days. The numbers show a significant increase in page views on this story over the past few days. We didn't stipulate that you could only vote once, either, although the system makes it harder to vote multiple times. Basically, Charlie asked people to vote for him, and they did, so he won fair and square. Congrats, Charlie!
