I'm curious as to why the headline and also the first few words of the article identify Ms. Pugh asRead More a single mom/mother. If the victim was an unmarried male with a child I'm very doubtful you would identify him as such in the headline or article.

So if you'd just drive one MPH *under* the posted speed limit you could save 1000 people. But youRead More don't. Horrible, just horrible.

RShelby::: Unfortunately most of the commenter's here and elsewhere insist that those who drive theRead More speed limit or slightly above are the problem and make the roads dangerous. I just traveled from MI to KY over the weekend and finding someone doing just 5 MPH over the limit was a real challenge. We had to do 10 - 15 over just to keep from getting rear ended even in clearly marked and patrolled construction zones. Anytime I make a point that we do have posted speed limits that are expected to be obeyed, the usual response is some gibberish about Europe's speed limits, the Autobahn or the equivalent to FU. If you're going to refuse to follow the rules, you ought not have a driver's license.
