Compared to other pizza places in town, I have a favorite in downtown Oswego. However, for the price and location convenience, Papa Johns on Douglas is not a bad choice. My husband and I have lived in Montgomery since 2001 and we have tried just about everywhere in the area! We ended up going to Papa John’s on a regular basis because would rent a movie (rental store is in the building) and pick up a pizza. We would order our pizza and then pick out the movie. By the time we were done picking out the movie, our pizza was done. We would never pay full price for the pizza because we would also use a coupon or order the special. I highly recommend the garlic bread sticks, they are so good! If you want extra dipping sauce, they do charge you .75 each (for a small amount). Sometimes, there is a line, but to avoid that call ahead to place your order. The pick-up line goes quickly. If you are looking for a cheap, reliable consistently made pizza, this is a great choice! They do use fresh ingredients unlike some other 'fast-food' pizza locations. I recommend if you are looking for quick and reasonable priced pizza.
