They treat you like family! We've been regulars since moving to the area six years ago. Our 4 year old loves it. Menu is big enough for eveyone to find something. Burgers, and Buffalo Chicken sandwich are favorites, but the Fish sandwich is the best! Two big pieces of fried cod, yum! Pizza is pretty good too -- especially if you like lots of cheese.
We also like the Sunday Breakfast Buffet. Not a huge spread, but priced right, and everything is good, including the made to order omlets. Speaking of buffets, we tried the Thanksgiving Buffet and were knocked out! Who needs to go to all the trouble, when you can get a great 'home cooked' meal like that?

I have to say my husband and I were looking forward to trying Elmer's, and after reading all the reviews we went a few Friday evenings ago...we were REALLY disappointed. The food smelled great, but we never got the chance to try it. We got there around 6 during dinner rush, so we had no problem waiting. We put our name on the list, the host said it would be around 20 minutes, which was fine, and actually a pleasant surprise considering how busy they were. There was one name on the list before ours, however, as we waited for over an hour at least 5 groups were seated, all of which seemed to be regulars, when my husband asked how long it would we were told we could sit at the bar. We gave him 15 more minutes then we left after yet another table was seated before us. We were very disappointed!
