Montgomery police officers (including Chief Daniel Meyers) donned their serving caps on Saturday and headed to Red Robin in Oswego, where they served food and collected tips for the Special Olympics.

According to Meyers, the department raised $1,986.17. This is the second time this month the Montgomery Police Department has pitched in to raise money for the Special Olympics. On March 6, a team from the department participated in the Polar Plunge in Yorkville, and brought back $653.
