As a consumer, you play a key role in helping your local businesses thrive. And by shopping at small local businesses this holiday season, you’re showing your support for the community around you.

Why support Small Business Saturday? Because your favorite small businesses are run by people who live in your community and the money you spend there goes back into the local economy. Plus, small local business offer more personalized service than the big chain retailers and a better chance of finding a one-of-a-kind gift.

What’s in it for you? Shop at all your favorite stores on Main Street on Small Business Saturday and enter to win $100 in "Downtown Dollars"! 5 Winners will be drawn and you can use the "Downtown Dollars" just like cash at any of the participating stores! Last year, over 100 million people came out to shop at their small local businesses on Small Business Saturday, so pledge to shop small on November 24th because if we all shop small, it will be huge!

There are plenty of other small business' in Oswego besides downtown. Savvy Fashions and More is a retail/resale/consignment boutique behind Culvers that offers so much! Clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, toys, books, videos, collectibles, antiques, home decor, NEW, used and hand-made items. Go over and check them out!
