Kifowit Hosts Community Drug Awareness Discussion

To help increase community awareness about the dangers of drugs, state Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, hosted a panel discussion with the Illinois State Police and several local organizations on Thursday that drew many area residents and focused on drug abuse prevention, treatment, and education.

“Thank you to the Illinois State Police and these organizations for bringing critical and potentially life-saving information and resources to families in the 84th District,” Kifowit said. “I appreciate community members taking part in this discussion, and I will continue to work with local and state stakeholders to determine how to best keep drugs out of our neighborhoods.”

Kifowit represents the 84th District, which includes Aurora, Boulder Hill, Montgomery, Naperville, and Oswego. For more information, or to RSVP, please contact Rep. Kifowit’s constituent service office at 630-585-1308, email Stephanie.Kifowit@att.net, or visit www.ILDistrict84.com
