Yorkville Falls to Richards in First Round of Playoffs
The Foxes end the season with a 5-5 record.
The Yorkville Foxes lost to Richards High School (Oak Lawn) in their first IHSA 6A playoff game.
The Foxes (5-5) were unable to muster up any offense against the Bulldogs (9-1) and ultimately lost 0-44 in the Saturday afternoon game.
This was the Foxes first playoff game since 2002, when they were in the 5A playoff class.
The Richards Bulldogs will take on Argo (Summit) in the second playoff round.
