No Bears Comeback, Just a Letdown

Who shoulders the blame for Chicago Bears defeat in Detroit?

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler gave up the ball four times — three interceptions and a fumble. The defense let Lions running back Reggie Bush rumble for a season-high 139 yards on 18 carries.

The Lions scored 24 straight points in three minutes and 26 seconds in the second quarter — and piled up 16 first downs. The Lions took a 40-16 lead into the fourth quarter. The Bears battled back, closing the gap to 40-32, but time ran out and another comeback story wasn't in the script for this roadtrip to Detroit.
