28 Montgomery Runners Compete in Chicago Marathon
The overall top finisher in the Chicago Marathon was Michael Wright as the 2,419th person to cross the finish line.
Just over 40,200 runners from every U.S. state and more than 120 countries participated in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Sunday.
Kenyan runner Dennis Kimetto had the overall top finish in the marathon at 2:03:45, breaking the record set by last year's by Ethiopia's Tsegaye Kebede at 2:04:38.
According to the unofficial results, there were 28 registered runners from Montgomery. Montgomery's top finisher, Michael Wright, finished with an overall time of 3:18:22.
