Pam Weber

“Pam Weber was a true friend as both an attendance secretary and a leader of the OESPA. Her support and passion for students and colleagues was ever-present and unwavering. She will be truly missed by the families, students, and staff of Prairie Point Elementary. We wish her the best as she embarks upon a new chapter in her life, one full of the love of her children, grandchildren, and some well-deserved relaxation.” — Principal Dr. Heidi Podjasek

Pamela Weber has consistently remained both near her hometown of Aurora and in education. In 1985 Pam worked at an elementary school in West Aurora District 129.

After a year she transferred into East Aurora District 131 and worked in the high school for 13 years before deciding to work in another district serving Aurora students—District 308. In October of 1999, Pam began her 13-year District 308 career as a clerical assistant at Boulder Hill Elementary School. In 2002, Pam’s title changed to that of a secretary. In 2005 Prairie Point Elementary School was opened and Pam was selected as the school’s first attendance secretary, a position she held until her retirement in December 2012.

Pam will fondly remember working the Boulder Hill fun fair and being a part of the opening of Prairie Point School, but she said her favorite memories will be of all the wonderful kids, families and co-workers with whom she worked. Tennis, golf and volunteering in her grandson’s classroom are all a part of Pam’s retirement plans.
