District 308 Institutes New Security Measure
State ID now required to gain access to all district buildings.
Visitors to all School District 308 facilities will now be asked to provide state identification before being allowed entrance, according to information on the District 308 website.
Under the new security measures, the IDs will used to electronically confirm the identity of all visitors. The new system will allow staff to print personalized visitor badges for each guest. The badges will include a photograph of the visitor and a time stamp.
A state ID will be required for all those without a valid district issued ID.
