Calling all future Girl Scouts!
We are looking for girls of all ages from Autumn Creek Elementary School as well as Grand Reserve that would be interested in joining newly formed troops! Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Not only do they learn sister-ship with their fellow troop members, but they also partake in many community service events to benefit people that are local, and also all around the world. We are also looking for troop leaders, assistants, as well as helpers. For example, Daisy Troop #1443 of Montgomery/Yorkville just completed a food and supply drive to send overseas to our troops. In the works they have Feed My Starving Children, Dress a Girl Around the World, Easter food drive, Adopt a Veteran and a toy drive for a children's hospital. We are extremely proud of out girls!
