101st Girl Scout Birthday Party

Girl Scout Week is celebrated each March. On March 10th it began with Girl Scout Sunday and ends with Girl Scout Sabbath on Saturday March 16th. The celebration always includes the Girl Scout Birthday, March 12th, the day in 1912 when Juliette Gordon Low officially registered the first 18 girl members in Savannah, Georgia. This year it starts off with a bang! The 101st birthday celebration is being held at Autumn Creek Elementary on Tuesday, March 11th, from 6:30-7:45 pm. The Girl Scouts will be making flowers for seniors at Salvation Army Meals. They'll dance, eat cupcakes, have friendship circles, and other traditions. Leaders are asked to bring drinks and markers for their girls.
