Presidential Poll: Who's Your Pick in Week Three?

The third in our weekly series of polls leading up to the March 20 primary election.

We’re racing headlong toward the March 20 primary election here in Illinois, which means the action is heating up.

On Tuesday, Jan. 7, we had two caucuses—Colorado and Minnesota—with a combined 76 delegates up for grabs. We also had the Missouri primary election, although that won’t decide who gets that state’s 52 Republican delegates. Missouri Republicans will hold a caucus on March 17 to award those.

UPDATE: In a surprise sweep, Rick Santorum has won all three of those contests. With decisive victories in Florida and Nevada over the past week, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is the front-runner, but Santorum's wins on Tuesday may change the game.

All five current candidates for president appear in this week’s poll, below. As the political landscape changes, we’ll change up this incredibly non-scientific survey, and we’ll track changes in the way the Fox Valley is leaning. Obama has taken both of the previous contests, but if you were to add up the Republican votes in both, he would have lost by a considerable margin.

So as the field narrows, it will be interesting to see whether the votes shift, and whether Obama can hang on to his lead. Vote below!
