Presidential Poll: Who's Your Pick in Super Tuesday Week?

The seventh in a series of weekly polls looking at your pick for president.

UPDATE: Super Tuesday's results are in, and there's still no sign of any of the four candidates dropping out. Romney won in Massachusetts, Ohio, Idaho, Vermont, Virginia and Alaska, with Santorum taking North Dakota, Oklahoma and Tennessee, and Gingrich winning Georgia.

That means the delegate count is as follows: Romney has 381, Santorum 160, Gingrich 101, and Paul 61. (Source.) The first to 1,144 will take the nomination, and it's still anyone's ballgame. The next primary is in Kansas on Saturday.

Today is the big day.

It’s Super Tuesday, the day that could finally decide who is leading the Republican race for president. Today will see primary elections and caucuses in Alaska, Georgia, Idaho, Massachusetts, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Vermont and Virginia.

And the chances of us ending the week with the same number of candidates are slim. There are 437 Republican delegates up for grabs today. Mitt Romney is in the lead with 173 delegates right now, with Rick Santorum behind him with 74. (Ron Paul has 37, Newt Gingrich 33. Source: RealClear Politics.)

The candidates need 1,144 delegates to win the primary. A decisive sweep from Romney or Santorum could significantly change the face of this race. With the nation’s eyes fixed on Super Tuesday, we’re asking you once again which candidate you’re leaning toward in this election.

Remember, our poll is incredibly non-scientific. This is just a fun way of tracking the shifting local political landscape. Barack Obama has won all but one of the past six weeks, but Republican candidates have amassed considerably more votes. So when the playing field narrows, we could see some interesting numbers here.

You have until Friday at 5 p.m. to vote. Thanks again!
