Presidential Poll Results: Week Eight

Here's how you voted in the final of our weekly presidential polls.

It took until the last week of our presidential poll experiment, but Mitt Romney has finally finished in first place.

The former Massachusetts governor took 45 of the 110 votes in our last poll, nabbing the gold medal. He’s only the second Republican to win one of our weekly surveys – his primary election opponent, Ron Paul, came in first twice. But as usual, the Republicans garnered far more votes in our astonishingly unscientific poll than the lone Democrat.

That Democrat, Barack Obama, took 31 votes for second place. Paul tied for third with Rick Santorum, each bringing in 13 votes. And Newt Gingrich limped along in last place, with eight votes.
