The question:

What are your specific ideas to make the village more business-friendly? How can Montgomery attract more businesses, and keep the ones that are here? What types of businesses would you like to see come to the village?

Regional discussion and attracting business with our great services of public works, police, fire, schools, and our sense of community. The small day to day things that Montgomery provides in helping local business operate in a safe and positive environment. Road improvements such as Route 30 and Orchard will provide easier access without the gridlock that has plagued other communities with road congestion.

We also have our Economic Development Corporation that is working to attract Manufacturing and Technical businesses that will create jobs with good wages for our residents. With the regional discussion Montgomery can work to secure the resources and tools needed to provide us with the foundation to create jobs in a long term and responsible manner while providing the highest level service to our residents.
