Montgomery Village Hall Hosts Therapy Dog Demonstration

The Fox Valley Therapy Dog Club will offer information on June 10.

Jan Lauwers and a friendly therapy dog will present a program about the Fox Valley Therapy Dog Club on June 10 at 10 a.m. at the Montgomery Village Hall.

The Fox Valley Therapy Dog Club is a volunteer organization providing a variety of canine assisted therapy programs and services in the communities of Illinois, including Kane, DuPage, Kendall, and Will Counties.  They provide canine assisted therapy to the public in schools, hospitals, libraries, nursing and healing facilities and for other community organizations throughout the Fox Valley area.

This program is offered by the Village of Montgomery as part of its Senior Citizen Program.  There is no charge and the event is handicap accessible.

The monthly Senior Lunch and activity for ages 55 and up will begin at 11:00 a.m. after the presentation. There is a $4 charge for the lunch and pre-registration for lunch is required by June 5. Bingo will be sponsored by Autumn Leaves.
