Montgomery 'Mayor on the Move' is June 7

Montgomery Village President Matt Brolley will host a “Mayor on the Move” from 10 to 11: 30 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Briarcliff Park, located on Briarcliff Road just north of Route 30.

Briarcliff Park was totally reconstructed last year and now boasts a basketball half court as well as all new playground equipment with handicap accessible options.  This park is owned and maintained by the Oswegoland Park District.

Residents are invited to stop in at the Mayor on the Move event to meet the Village President on an informal basis and discuss items of concern with him.  Everyone is encouraged to bring their comments, questions and ideas to the session.  Light refreshments will be available.

Brolley explained, “I want to continue to meet, listen and learn from residents.  As a working father of two young children, I understand the struggle with leaving home without them on Saturday morning, so I encourage parents to bring the family.  I look forward to hearing your ideas and suggestions as we move Montgomery forward.”
