What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

My primary reason for running for the school board is because all my children are out of the school district and I have the time and desire to stay connected with our schools.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

Making sure that parents understand all the decisions that are being made and the reason why they are made.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

I have had the experience of learning a second language as a young adult. I was the first generation from my family to graduate from college. I understand the difference between the Spanish educational system and the American educational system.

What's your favorite thing about the school district?

The school spirit. The fellowship and pride in our schools and students.

What is the biggest problem in the school district?

All districts have areas that need to be improved. Improving communication between the district and parents is very important to the success of our students.
