Young Driver Charged with Drug Possession

MONDAY, DEC. 30

Windows of homes in the 2200 block of Rebecca Circle were shot with a a B-B Gun. Residents reported seeing four boys running from the area at about 1:15 a.m.

Bruno Muro, 19, of the 300 block of Beach St. Aurora, was charged with possessing marijuana after police spotted, during a traffic stop, a bag that contained suspected marijuana onto the floor as he was getting out of the vehicle at about 4 a.m. near Douglas and Park. The driver, a 17-year-old male, was charged with having stolen license plate, possessing a controlled substance and possessing marijuana.

A wallet left at a business in the 2000 block of Orchard Road went missing. About $200 cash was in the wallet when it disappeared.

Ramon Vazquez, 37, of the 500 block of E. Galena Blvd, Aurora, was charged with driving without a valid license after police stopped his vehicle at about 6 p.m. near Goodwin and Route 30 for only having one headlight.

A victim told police they received threatening messages from a person they had a prior relationship with. The victim also believes that the same person threw a landscaping brick and flattened the tires on their 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo parked on the street in the 2200 block of Lynn Drive.

SATURDAY, DEC. 28

Masood Khan, 22, who reported was homeless, was charged with retail theft at about 1 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Douglas Road. He is accused of concealing $170 in baby formula and leaving the business without paying.

A victim reported that $250 worth of clothing was stolen from inside a dryer at a laundromat while they left for a short time at around 2 p.m. in the 600 block of Montgomery Road.

FRIDAY, DEC. 27

James Buzzard, 23, of the 100 block of Stillwater, Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence after police stopped his vehicle at about 2:15 a.m. near Aucutt and Orchard Road for failing to signal, speeding and driving without a rear registration plate light.

Jesse Janes, 22, of the 500 block of W. Illinois Ave, Aurora, was arrested on a DuPage County Sheriff’s Department warrant for possessing drug paraphernalia. Police made contact with him at about 5 a.m. in the 2100 block of Baseline Road.

A resident in the 2900 block of Shetland Lane reported that some removed the rear license plate from their 1993 Honda Del Sol that was parked in the street.

Two juvenile females from Boulder HIlls were charged with retail theft. They are accused of hiding $27 in merchandise at about 8:10 p.m. and left a store in the 2000 block of Orchard Road without paying for the items.

THURSDAY, DEC. 26

Mario Flores, 18, of the 500 block of North Ave. Aurora, was charged with driving with a suspended license after police stopped him at about 7:45 p.m. near Douglas and Montgomery Road for not having a rear license plate light.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 25

Bradley McKenna, 67, of the 1300 block of Ridgeway, Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped his vehicle at about 9:30 p.m. in the 200 block of North River Street for improper lane use and driving without headlights.
