Victims Identified in Fatal Aurora Car Crash

The three fatalities include two Montgomery women and an Aurora man.

Aurora Police have released the names of the victims in a car crash that happened late Sunday evening in Aurora that killed three and injured five, according to ABC news. 

They are: Oscar O. Rodriguez, 28, of the 600 block of Iowa Avenue, Aurora; Rosa Cuanetl, 57; and Andrea Moyotl, 77, both of the 1100 block of Hinckley Street, Montgomery.

A Dodge Challenger driven Rodriguez was headed northbound on Broadway and a minivan carrying a family of seven Montgomery residents was headed south when they collided at 11:49 p.m. on Broadway south of Hazel Avenue when Rodriguez crossed over into the southbound lane.
According to the Aurora Beacon, an accident report shows that the van’s driver, Juanita Moyotl, 17, also of the 1300 block of Hinckley Street, was transported to a Geneva hospital, and then to a suburban Chicago hospital.

A 10-year-old male passenger in the minivan was treated at an Aurora hospital, then airlifted to a suburban Chicago hospital and three other male passengers - ages 9, 12, and 40 - were transported to an Aurora hospital, according to the Beacon.

Police told the Beacon that the injuries sustained by everyone involved in the crash have prevented them from making statements about what occurred that evening.
