Three Cited in Montgomery Tobacco Sting
Employees cited with local ordinance violations.
Montgomery Police recently conducted another round of tobacco sales compliance checks at retailers across the village, and found three businesses selling to minors.
In all, 13 retailers were inspected. Those that sold tobacco to an underage tobacco agent were the Orchard Road Walgreens, the Montgomery Walmart and Kick’s 66 on Montgomery Road.
One employee at each were cited with an unlawful sale of tobacco to a minor local ordinance violation.
