Sheriff's Department Investigating Juvenile Sex Assault in Boulder Hill

A 15-year-old girl was treated at Rush-Copley Medical Center early Monday morning; police have a male juvenile suspect.

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a criminal sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl that occurred at 1 a.m. Monday in Boulder Hill.

According to Deputy Craig French, sheriff’s deputies responded to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora at 3 a.m. Monday and met with the victim and her mother. The girl was treated at the hospital, French said.

The investigation is ongoing, French said, and deputies have a suspect, a male juvenile. Sheriff’s deputies have not yet interviewed the suspect, French said.

While French would not comment on the specifics of this case, he said in general all cases of this nature are referred to the Kendall County Children’s Advocacy Center.
