Wednesday, Sept. 19

Battery, violation of protection, resisting a peace officer

Phillip John Menefee, 51, of the 200 block of Fernwood Road, Montgomery, was arrested 5:48 p.m. in the 200 block of Fernwood Road and charged with battery, violation of protection, resisting a peace officer and two in-state warrants, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Driving with license suspended, warrant arrest

Lora Reyna, 33, of the 400 block of Barnaby Drive, was arrested at 5:28 p.m. at Codorus and Boulder Hill Pass and charged with driving with a suspended license and warrants out of Kendall County and Aurora, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Reyna was also cited with expired traffic registration.

Monday, Sept. 17

Driving with license revoked, in-state warrant

Leroy Curtis, 55, of the 200 block of Ashcroft Lane, was arrested at 7:07 p.m. at Augusta and Kevin Lane and charged with driving with a revoked license and a warrant out of Will County for failure to appear for driving with a revoked license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Curtis was also cited for operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to signal when required.

In-state warrant

Christopher A. Cantu, 33, of the 0-99 block of N. Mallory Ave., Batavia, was arrested at 3:07 p.m. at Long Beach Elementary School and charged with an in-state warrant, a violation of a court order, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Sunday, Sept. 16

DUI, moving violations

Justin Michael Loehmann, 18, of the 400 block of Fawn Drive was arrested at 2 a.m. in the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass and charged with driving under the influence and multiple moving violations, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Loehmann’s vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree, where it caught fire. Loehmann was brought to Rush-Copley for multiple non-incapacitating injuries.

No valid driver’s license

Leonel Galicia-Guerra, 23, of the 600 block of N. Union St., Aurora, was arrested at 11:52 p.m. at Farmington Lakes Drive and Douglas Road and charged with having no valid driver’s license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. He was also cited for speeding, no insurance and defective exhaust.

In-state warrant

Mark Allen Franzen, 52, of the 0-99 block of Circle Drive West, Montgomery, was arrested at 11:51 a.m. at his house and charged with an in-state warrant for Kendall County for failing to appear for a DUI, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Saturday, Sept. 15

DUI

Jesus Gustavo Gutierrez, 23, of the 100 block of Harbor Drive was arrested at 5:20 a.m. at Route 31 and Anchor Drive and charged with driving under the influence, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies has originally responded to the area for report of an accident.

Aggravated assault, DUI

Dana Tyrone Green, 46, of the 700 block of Longwood Drive, Algonquin, was arrested at 10:19 p.m. in the 1700 block of Route 30 and charged with aggravated assault and driving under the influence, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were originally dispatched to the location for a report of someone refusing to leave the property at the owner’s request.

Friday, Sept. 14

Theft

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported theft that occurred in the 2400 block of Light Road sometime between 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13 and 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14. A motorcycle registration was taken, and the case is under investigation.

Thursday, Sept. 13

DUI drugs, aggravated assault, resisting a peace officer

Eve L. Latino, 77, of the 1200 block of Tannery Ridge, Elgin, was arrested at 5:48 p.m. at Maple and Douglas and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, aggravated assault and resisting a peace officer, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. She was also cited for improper lane usage.

Wednesday, Sept. 12

Criminal trespassing, criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of criminal trespassing and damage to property at Twin Oaks Landscaping that occurred sometime between Sept. 5 and Sept. 6. Two vehicles were damaged, one with damage to the passenger side port hole window and the second sustained damage to windshield, driver’s window and passenger side view mirror. The damages are estimated at $1300.

Tuesday, Sept. 11

Identity Theft

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of identity theft that occurred in the 1500 block of Light Road on Sunday, Sept. 9. Victim’s credit card was being used to make purchases. The case is under investigation.
