Shed-nanigans
Someone broke into a shed in the 0-99 block of Saugatuck Road in Boulder Hill sometime before 9:58 a.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Nothing was taken, but $11 of damage was done to the shed and its contents, police said.

A male juvenile was charged with retail theft after trying to take $4.25 in lighters out of a store in the 0-99 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill at 10:30 a.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Someone broke out a window on a motor home parked in the 0-99 block of Greenbriar Road in Boulder Hill sometime before 5 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Someone slashed the tire of a car parked in the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East in Boulder Hill sometime before 7:42 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Failure to yield, drug charges
Arturo Alarcon Jr., of the 0-99 block of Ingleshire Road in Boulder Hill, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies stopped his car at 9:04 p.m. at Fernwood Road and Briarcliff Road in Oswego Township, police said. Alarcon was initially stopped for failing to yield at an intersection, police said.
