Sheriff's Holiday Crackdown Yields 82 Tickets

The Kendall County Sheriff's Department has released the results of their yearly Thanksgiving traffic enforcement effort. Check out the numbers below.

If the Kendall County Sheriff’s Department wrote you a ticket during the last two weeks of November, congratulations. You were part of the department’s annual Thanksgiving enforcement effort, and you’re a number in the chart below.

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies issued a total of 82 citations between Nov. 14 and Nov. 27, according to Deputy Craig French. The annual crackdown is paid for by federal traffic safety funds, through the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Division of Traffic Safety.
