Sheriff's Deputies Write 49 Tickets During Holiday Traffic Campaign

Kendall County joined hundreds of law enforcement agencies across the state in stepping up enforcement around St. Patrick's Day.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Department has announced the results of the recent St. Patrick’s Day traffic enforcement campaign.

Overall, sheriff’s deputies wrote 49 tickets, for offenses ranging from drunken driving (2) to seatbelt violations (31). The full list is below.

Kendall County joined hundreds of law enforcement agencies throughout the state in adding extra patrols around St. Patrick’s Day. The stepped-up enforcement, which ran from March 12 to March 20, was funded by a grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Division of Traffic Safety, police said.
