Saturday, Feb. 18

Drunken driving

Jonathan Peguero, 24, of the 300 block of Pacific Drive in Bolingbrook, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 2:01 a.m. on Boulder Hill Pass at Briarcliff Road in Montgomery, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Peguero was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, improper parking in a roadway and failing to signal when required, police said.

An employee of the Dollar General Store at 73 Boulder Hill Pass in Montgomery reported a man shouting obscenities at her, and then leaving on foot sometime around 1:44 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Steven Owens, 20, of the 100 block of Circle Drive West in Montgomery, was injured when his all-terrain vehicle collided with a car at 7:06 p.m. on Circle Drive West at Ashlawn Avenue in Montgomery, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Owens refused medical treatment for an ankle injury, police said, and was charged with operation of an ATV on the roadway and improper passing.

Friday, Feb. 17

Trying to break in

Someone attempted to force entry into a locked, enclosed patio in the 100 block of Ingleshire Road in Montgomery sometime before 11 a.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Nothing was reported missing, police said, and the incident remains under investigation.

Thursday, Feb. 16

Watch for flying vases

Someone smashed the window of a 2005 Chrysler minivan with a vase sometime before 5:47 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Wembley Road in Montgomery, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The damage is estimated at $400, police said.
